29 Weeks.
Here we are at 29 weeks. We had a good doctor's appointment this week. I measured 35cm... The most I ever measured with my boys was 37cm. It is always so good to hear both little hearts beating. That sound never gets old. When people ask me how I'm feeling, my number one complaint is a sore back. I see my chiropractor once a week. This week I saw him twice. Thanks Dr. Peterson. My number two complaint is that I'm so tired. Well, to be honest I've been tired for 3 years now.
Computers and Books!
I introduced Reiley to "Hallmark" e-cards earlier this month... He is obsessed with them. If you get a chance, you should check them out. Reiley's favorite character is the Screaming Banchee.
This week the boys can't get enough from reading their books. Reiley is constantly asking us to "lead it, lead it please!" Reiley uses l's in place of his r's. Luke will also bring us books and yell the same thing. His words arent' as clear, however, he sure knows how to get his point across.

Hello Pink!
We have a ways to go with the pregnancy, but Jason and I decided that it was time to begin our preparations... I'm already worthless which leaves Jason with a lot on his plate. Nanie came over today to do some painting.
More pictures to come. Thanks Nanie for your great work.

Bye Bye Lukie's Room.
Changes.
Today was a big day for the boys. Reiley and Luke are officially roommates. Jason and I decided to give ourselves and the boys plenty of time to adjust to sharing a room before we bring home the babies. The picture above is the transition room (our room).
Jason setting up Luke's crib in Reiley's room. We will now call it the boys room.
Another angle of the transition room.
Reiley will sleep in a single bed and Luke in his crib. I'll post the finished product at a later date.

28 weeks.
I am 28 weeks today. I measured my circumference... 41 inches! I have been feeling pretty uncomfortable lately. I hope the aches and pains I'm feeling are just normal pregnancy pains and not signs of pre-term labor...
Cleaning.
One of Reiley's favorite things to do is clean! I decided to clean out my tupperware cupboard. The boys are always getting into my plastics (bottles, sippy cups, tupperware, etc.) and spreading them around the house. I said enough was enough. Jason rolled his eyes because he knows that whatever I start, he will have to finish.
The boys helped me empty the cupboard and wipe it down.
Little did they know that we were going to sterilize everything, put it all back neatly and child-proof the doors. He he he. They haven't figured out how to open the doors yet, but I'm sure they will soon out smart us. They always do.

Thanksgiving Day.
We went back to the Austins for brunch today... The boys, Jason, Kasey, Papa, Nanie and Abbey went for a walk in the park. I stayed back and planted myself on the couch. Bobby watched the dog show and Anne cleaned up the kitchen and worked on her cross stitching.
I took these pictures of the boys later in the evening.

Thanksgiving Celebration.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at the Papa and Nanie's house today... I have been terrible at taking pictures... This is as good as it gets. Here is Luke dancing off his turkey dinner.
Papa and Reiley also burning off some after dinner calories.

Moving Day!
Today was a busy day for everyone. Papi, Uncle Daniel and a friend Pat drove the moving truck in from Chicago. They all kept busy unloading the truck. I didn't get many pictures, but you can check out Vovo's blog for some.
Geneva IL
These pictures were taken of the boys before we left for our appointment. Vovo took the morning shift and Papa and Nanie came in for reinforcements later in the morning. Thank you all for your help.
Jason and I arrived in Geneva for our 10:30am appointment with plenty of time to fill out the paperwork. We were right on schedule and received some happy news. The doppler readings showed that both babies were receiving plenty/sufficient blood supply and that there is only a 6oz difference between the girls. They told us that Twin A is average for her size and Twin B is above average for her size. We will continue to monitor the girls closely, but for now we were told that there is nothing to worry about.
We decided to officially share the girls names. Twin A = Kate Elisabeth currently 2lbs. 4oz and Twin B = Madison Olivia currently 2lbs. 10oz. They are both 14 inches long. Thank you for all your prayers and please continue to pray for we still have a long road ahead for us.

27 Weeks.
This has been a long week... We had our appointment on Tuesday and I was told to start taking it easy. I haven't been told officially to be on bed rest, however, they urged me to stay off my feet as much as possible and not crawl around after the boys. I know that many of you would love to be told to stay off your feet and rest, but let me tell you... it's not as easy as it sounds. The second piece of news from the doctor was that we needed to go see a specialist... Twin A measured 11oz smaller than Twin B. This was a concern so we have an appointment tomorrow in Geneva, IL for a doppler reading and to take a closer look at the girls.

Birthday continued.
After breakfast, we headed over to Vovo's new house for a couple of diaper changes and some last minute preparations before Vovo headed back to Chicago. The carpet cleaners will be coming today between noon and 1pm. The boys and I need to come back after naps to let them into Vovo's house...
Happy Birthday Vovo!
Reiley was up at 5:30am today ready to celebrate Vovo's birthday. My mom and I got the boys ready and met Jason at Parkway for breakfast at 7am. Jason had already been at work for an hour. We feasted on omlets, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. It was yummy!

Chicago Marathon Pictures.
26 weeks.
Luke's first haircut.
Luke's hair was beautiful and curly... It was time to make him look like a little man. We'll miss the curls. Or at least mommy will.
