Luke's new quilt.

Vovo made Luke a quilt. The boys love hanging out on it.
Reiley's close up.
We thought this picture was funny. Luke had a puzzle piece in his mouth and in each hand. He kept this look for quite a while.

More train pictures.

We had originally planned a day trip downtown, but due to the extreme heat, we rode the train up to O'hare and back to Jefferson Park.
The boys loved it. Reiley couldn't get enough. Luke was a wiggle worm, but enjoyed the ride.

Our trip on the EL.

Reiley has talked non-stop about trains, so we decided to take him for a ride on the EL in Chicago.

Happy Anniversary!

The boys bought us a cake for our anniversary. It was yummy!
Luke was loving the fact that somebody left the Fruit Loop container unattended.

Our little climber and bucket head.

Every time I turn around, Luke is climbing up on the picnic table.
This time, I caught him in the act.
Our dear bucket head.

Back outside first thing in the morning....

More fun with our new table...

Sand and Water.

Today, the boys emptied their piggy banks and we went to Walmart to purchase a sand and water table. Reiley and Luke helped Mommy put it together while Uncle Daniel took a nap...
Uncle "Dando" stopped by briefly on his way home from dropping Uncle Mark off in Kansas. He rested his eyes for a while, played with the boys and was on his way back to Chicago.
It took me 30 minutes for put this thing together with all the wonderful help.
Luke loves to taste everything...
Reiley was in heaven. He loves water and sand. What a great toy!

Daddy's new toy.

We finally broke down and purchased a riding mower.
Oh, this is Luke's favorite toy at Nanie's...
Jason would probably not like to see this picture of himself... But Reiley looks cute.

Luke's stepping stone.

Daddy, Reiley and Mommy painted Luke's stepping stone...
Reiley managed to get paint just below his eye and all over the rest of his body.
This picture is of Luke during breakfast. He was filthy. The picture does not do it any justice.
Nanie, guess what?! Today, I clapped my hands the way I'm supposed to. Luke's not be able to figure out how to clap his hands the right way. It's been funny watching him try to figure it out.
Another painting picture.

Come to Rockford, Papi! Please!

Reiley was asking to see Papi and Vovo all week long. I told him to call them and ask if they'd meet us in Rockford. So, he did. This morning we drove a little over an hour to Cherry Vale mall in Rockford. While anxiously awaiting Papi, Vovo, Uncle Daniel and Uncle Mark, Reiley and Luke blew off some steam at the play center. It was great to see everyone. We hung out, had some lunch and headed back home. What a great day!

Back on the river

Luke could barely contain his excitment.
Daddy and Reiley went tubbing briefly. Reiley loved it especially the "wipe out!".

Clean up time.

I rinsed the boys off in the kitchen sink... They were so filthy.
They thought this was great.

Fun in the mud.

I was attempting to mow our lawn and the boys decided not to take naps when I thought they should. I allowed them to play in my garden... This gave me 40 minutes to mow uninterupted.
Reiley always with the hose in hand. Luke making sure he hit every puddle and tasted every clump of mud.
Oh what fun!
"Reiley, I think that's enough water for now."

John and Julie

Jason's cousins Julie and John from Atlanta stopped by to meet the boys on their way to Omaha. It was so great to see you again.

Brownie and Pale Face.

I am attempting to show you how different Luke and Reiley's skin colors are.
Luke is so pale that he gets sunburn walking out to the mailbox. Reiley never burns and continues to get darker every day.

We also went for a pontoon ride.

Luke drove first, with Michael's help.
Then it was Reiley's turn.
