A Good Report.
Grandma Mimi, this one is for you. I have been attempting to capture the girls with their eyes open. This is not easy. Number one, their eyes are not open very often and when they are, my camera goes on the fritz. This is Madison. Check out her chubby cheeks.
This is Kate. Very blurry picture. I will work on this...
We went to Rockford Memorial Hospital today to the neonatal follow up clinic for our one month check up. The girls received a great report. They are both growing (Madison is 6lbs. 15oz and Kate is 6lbs 1oz) and doing very well for being minus 16 days old. The nurse practicioner told us that our little ladies are advanced and are very pleased with their growth and development this far. We will go back sometime in June and then again next December for another check up. This is Madison.

One Month Old.
This is Madison. We see alot of this between 4pm and 7pm from both our girls if they are not being held. Who said that you can't spoil a baby?
Our sweet baby girls are one month old today. As you can see, they are very comfortable with each other. Kate doesn't seem to mind Madison's armpit is her face.

Funny pix.
So, Reiley went to check on his sisters as he often does throughout the day... He came to me and asked me why Madison was naked. I wasn't sure what he meant, so I went and took a look for myself. This is was I found. I'm not used to having clothes that are larger than my children. As you all know, my boys are larger than the average child. Anyhow, the girls are wearing 0-3 clothes and this is how well they are filling them out.

"I have sisters!!" - Reiley
Welcome home sisters!
The girls are finally home.
After 3 long weeks and 2 days, the girls were given the ok to come home. They are eating very well and gaining weight. Kate was discharged at 5lbs 9.5oz and Madison at 6lbs 2oz. You can tell they are gaining weight by looking at their "chubby" cheeks. Madison.

We have our hands full...
Daddy with Madison and Kate.
Mommy with Madison and Kate. Jason had the day off due to Martin Luthing King Day. We were able to spend some quality time with the girls at the hospital while Anne watched the boys for us at home.

Too bad this picture is blurry... I can see myself in Kate's face. It must be the scowl.

Papa meets the girls.
Ok, so this is not Papa. I cannot seem to get the pictures in order... This is our dear friend Michael holding Madison.
Madison.
This is Papa holding Madison. We are not ignoring Kate... Madison is out of her isolette and much easier to get our hands on. Kate should be out of her "box" very soon.

Hats by Lynn Mecher.
We received these adorable hats in the mail from Courtney. Her mom made them. When I first saw them, I thought they would be too small. Who was I kidding... They are perfect! Thanks Lynn.
