The big prize.
At the end of the race, the boys were able to pick out a pumpkin.
It was an exhausting morning and we had so much fun.

Pumpkin Dash continued...
What would be a pumpkin dash without dashing for pumpkins?
We enjoyed a hay ride. Reiley was especially impressed by the tractor that pulled us.
Sorry the pictures are out of order. More preparations for the big race.
Luke enjoyed the ride as long as he had his blanket, thumb and daddy.

The Pumpkin Dash.
Today we participated in the pumpkin dash. It's an event held by the park district and medical center in Sterling. The boys were able to tour an ambulance.

Tickled pink and seeing double.
We had our first ultrasound today... Surprise! It's twins and they are both girls. Our first reaction was disbelief, followed by excitement, followed by amazement. Thank you for all your prayers and requests for a girl. God sure has a sense of humor. We are thrilled.
The picture above shows the top of their heads. Twin A is on the right and Twin B is on the left.

The pictures above are of Twin A. The top picture shows her leg and foot. The bottom picture shows her face. It's ok to use your imagination. Sometimes if you don't know what you are looking for it is difficult to figure it out.
The pictures above are of Twin B. The top picture shows her femininity and the picture below is of her face.
Luke's 1 year appointment.
Luke weighed in at 24.4lbs and measured 32.5 inches long today. He's in good health and is attempting to take his first steps. I love this picture of his hair. He's due for a haircut. Maybe some day soon.

At the park
Today was cool but sunny. We decided to go to the park. Reiley loves this "cycle". He always makes a funny face when riding it.

Lately
Reiley is finally having his 2 year old meltdowns. I don't remember what this one was all about, but after 20 minutes he was his happy self again.
Luke continues to get into things. This time it happened to be daddy's sock drawer.

A cold soccer game.
We went to the high school to watch the boy's soccer team...
It was really chilly, but it was fun to get out of the house.

And more cake.
Vovo started to clean him up and Luke swung his arms and got some icing on her face and hair. "That will teach her not to mess with my food!"
More cake...
Cake pictures.
I made him a star shaped smash cake with blue icing.
He wasn't sure what to do with himself when everyone was singing to him.
Reiley was right there ready to help him if needed.

We had a party... There were six boys (ages 2.5 - 6 months). Pictured from left to right are: Josiah, Luke, Reiley and Byron... Not pictured are Jackson and Brecken.
The boys snacked outside...
Papi and Vovo with their three grandchildren. Luke was more interested in eating (as usual).

Football game continued...
Luke and Caleb were mesmerized by the marching band. They were dancing... It was cute. We caught some on video, but I haven't figured out how to do video yet...
They crawled, climbed and walked all over the Packers golf cart which belonged to a very kind man who allowed them to have their fun.
Reiley asked daddy for a golf cart for his birthday.
